Everything you’d want to know before writing to me.
How I work
I guide more than I direct, and I pose very little. Most of the day happens on its own, and I’m there like a guest with a camera. When I do step in, it’s for the light or for a moment that calls for it, never to make you do something that doesn’t feel like you. Family group photos are part of the day if you want them: we agree on the list beforehand, and they can happen during the getting ready or right after the ceremony. Kept short and organised, they leave you more time with your guests and the drinks.
Warm, natural colours, shot digitally, close to what you lived. Part of the gallery goes to black and white, often with a little grain for a film feel. It’s a signature touch, not the whole story. Everything is carefully edited and consistent from the first picture to the last.
Yes. An engagement session lets you get used to the camera, and to me, somewhere you love. You choose the place, we organise it together on a video call, and I guide you a little more than on the wedding day, since it’s just the two of you. It’s part of the collections. And if you’d like to extend the story afterwards, the day after is a session in your wedding clothes, a few days or weeks later, away from the clock of the wedding day.
Coverage and logistics
Wherever you say yes. I’m based in Occitanie and I photograph in the South of France and across Europe (Italy, Spain, Corsica, Greece, the Canary Islands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia). Outside the South of France, travel and accommodation are estimated before you sign.
Yes. From the getting ready to the last dance, and across the whole weekend if you plan one: the welcome dinner, the wedding, the brunch the next day. A wedding can last from one to four days, and I’m there for the parts that matter to you.
Of course. A good planner makes the day smoother, and I like to be in touch before the wedding to align on the timeline and the key moments.
Not at all. I’m fully bilingual in French and English, with a charming French accent, and I move from one to the other depending on who I’m talking to. It helps me get to know everyone, and it shows in the pictures.
Photography is my craft, and I give it all my attention. Film is a craft of its own, with its own eye, its own gear and its own rhythm on the day, and I’d rather be fully behind one camera than half behind two. If a film is part of your plans, we can talk about it on our call.
Investment and deliverables
Wedding collections start at 4,200 euros for a full day of coverage. The final proposal depends on the hours you need and what you’d like to include, from an engagement session to a full wedding weekend. I walk you through the collections on our video call, so you can see what fits your day.
A first selection of highlights within a week, then the complete gallery within eight weeks. It reads like a book: the whole story of the day, you, your families, the details, the dancefloor, with wide shots and close ones. If you’d like an album, I offer them with a natural Tuscan leather cover, hand-stitched, made to be passed on.
Booking
Six to twelve months ahead is ideal, and the sooner the better for peak dates. Every wedding starts with a video call, an hour or so, where I show you complete galleries and walk you through the collections. Then I send you a proposal made for your day. Your date is secured with a bespoke contract and a retainer, and the rest of the investment is spread over instalments before the wedding.
We stay in touch. You fill in a questionnaire so I know who matters most to you. We have a video call about three months before the wedding, then another one a week before, to go over the timeline together.
I work with two identical cameras, and each one records every picture on two memory cards at once, so nothing depends on a single device. I carry spare batteries and cards, my gear is insured, and the files are backed up in several places. And in case of an emergency, my network in the wedding industry means I know photographers I can call.
