Thibault Maestracci // Wedding photographer

Hello there, I’m Thibault

[Tee-Bow]
Wedding photographer South of France – black-and-white square studio portrait of Thibault Maestracci.

I’m a destination wedding photographer from the land of lavender fields, vineyards, unreasonable amounts of rosé, and small villages with more roundabouts than residents per square meter.

Frequently asked questions

What’s your photography style as a wedding photographer?

My approach is documentary and unobtrusive.
I don’t stage moments, I observe them, blending into the day like one more guest rather than standing apart directing it.

Standard coverage follows the day as one continuous story: getting ready, the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception and the dancefloor, captured as it unfolds rather than a series of separate staged shots.
When I do guide, it’s always in service of the light or a moment that calls for it, never heavily posed or artificial.

Black and white plays an essential role in this vision, especially when emotion and simplicity take precedence.
For couples drawn to this aesthetic, I offer a dedicated approach centered around black and white wedding photography.

Do you speak English?
“Mais oui bien sur !” … with a charming French accent ! I’m fully bilingual, which makes a real difference for international and mixed couples.
Do you photograph destination weddings outside the South of France?

Yes. The South of France, Occitanie, Provence and the French Riviera are my home ground, but I travel across France and throughout Europe for destination weddings. Wherever your day unfolds, I bring the same documentary approach.

Do you offer multi-day or wedding weekend coverage?
Yes. For couples celebrating over more than one day, coverage can extend across the full weekend, from the welcome dinner to a pool party the day before, right through to a post-wedding brunch. It’s a way to tell the whole story of your celebration, not just the ceremony and reception.
Do you offer sessions before the wedding day?
Yes. A pre-wedding couple session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and build trust before the big day. These sessions travel well, a quiet morning in Antibes, a golden-hour walk through Girona, wherever makes sense for you.
Do you photograph proposals?
Yes, mainly in the South of France and in Paris, though I’m happy to travel further if that’s where you’re planning to pop the question. I can also help discreetly with the planning and organisation of the moment itself, and even bring a bottle of chilled champagne!
What do your collections start at?
Wedding photography collections start at 4,200 euros, built around full-day documentary coverage. We’ll talk through what fits your day during our first conversation.

How about taking the time to talk about it?
