Every wedding here is different. Some are quietly observed, others carefully composed. Most mix both, because that’s often where the most honest images come from.

No two days unfold the same way. A day after session at the edge of the Camargue. A wedding at the Toulouse Capitol. An engagement at sunset near Perpignan. A ceremony at the foot of the Pic Saint-Loup. Each story is different. Each one is true.

This proposal was photographed on June 19, 2026, in the lavender fields near Valensole, Provence, on land belonging to Lavande Angelvin, who kindly allowed us to shoot there. Kyle flew in from Boston with one plan: propose to Bruna in the lavender, and make sure she never saw it coming.

Katie and John threw their wedding party at Maison Noilly Prat in Marseillan: a flower-filled courtyard, barrel-lined chais, and wall-to-wall music courtesy of a DJ and a live band. Planned by Anéia Events, with flowers by Fustaq Florals, the day ran from a pétanque lesson to a giant Jenga tower to a dancefloor that never quite stopped. Here’s the story, in photos.
